Who can become a member?
|
|
|
Anyone at least 18 years old who is enthusiastic about the objectives and values of SCR, possesses a desire to help, the willingness to learn, the ability to work as part of a team, a strong sense of responsibility, commitment and respect for others can become an SCR member. For those wanting to be part of response teams, a taste for the outdoors and adventure is helpful.

What training should I have?
|
|
|
No prior training is required. We provide all the training required to ensure that our members are competent in the accomplishment of their tasks. This training includes regular simulations as well as large-scale exercises occasionally involving other emergency response groups. We grant equivalencies for training already acquired but reserve the right to verify competencies.
